The Slow Pace of the Forgotten Coast

Billboard at the intersection of Highways 98 and 319.

This photo was taken in January of 2025. I hope it gives you a feel for the relaxed pace of life and laid-back attitude of folks on the Forgotten Coast. For the proprietors of this family-owned, top-of-the-line restaurant, advertising isn’t a high priority. They care more about providing outstanding, prepared-from-scratch local seafood and Southern-hospitality-style service with a water view on the side.

It’s a big experience just a short drive away for Lanark Villagers who want to relax over what may be the best meal they’ve ever had. Quality is never outdated.
