The LVA is organizing a community fundraising campaign to replace our front doors with a new, durable unit equipped with an automatic opener to improve accessibility for residents and visitors. The upgrade will make our shared spaces easier to enter for seniors, people using mobility aids, parents with strollers, and anyone carrying supplies for events, while also enhancing security and energy efficiency. Donations will support purchase, professional installation, and any necessary electrical work. Residents can contribute through small, one-time gifts or ongoing pledges.

Your donations help to keep Chillas Hall running smoothly, create social events, and purchase food and supplies for community meals, among other activities.
Those of you who attend monthly meetings know the challenges we face this year as we address long-deferred maintenance issues, build our emergency fund, and work toward turning the dilapidated property on Warren Avenue into an asset for residents.
