Sweet Times

The LVA threw a party for Valentine’s Day this year, and neighbors gathered to celebrate the Village version of la dolce vita. The party was billed as “Dance and Desserts,” but considerate Villagers also brought savory snacks. Food was abundant, as it generally is at our gatherings. The chocolate martinis were an especially sweet treat.

Attendees were decked out in reds, pinks, and sparkly hearts. Even the bear sported his party attire.

We danced the night away. Sang some. Laughed a lot.

Lady luck smiled especially bright on Debbie, who won the wine basket raffle and also on Vern, who won the 50/50, then donated his half back to the LVA. Thanks, Vern!

But (and you probably knew I was going to say this) we were all winners. We had fun on the cheap, moved to the beat, and went home with full bellies and hearts.
